Hero MotoCorp’s electric division, Vida, has released a teaser for its upcoming Concept Ubex, a new electric motorcycle set to make its first public appearance at EICMA 2025. The concept hints at what could become the company’s first full-scale production electric motorcycle.
The teaser image offers only a glimpse of the bike’s silhouette, but it’s enough to show an aggressive design that brings to mind the Hero Xtreme lineup. The Ubex features an angular front section, a raised pillion seat, alloy wheels, and disc brakes on both ends. A centrally mounted rear monoshock appears to be part of the setup, reinforcing its street-focused proportions.
Although Hero has yet to reveal technical details, the layout suggests the use of a mid-mounted motor positioned where a traditional engine would sit, along with an integrated battery pack. The prototype could also incorporate higher-spec parts from Hero’s portfolio, such as USD front forks and a TFT digital console with wireless connectivity.
Hero has previously confirmed its partnership with Zero Motorcycles to co-develop larger electric models positioned in the 350cc and above performance category, expected between 2026 and 2027. Whether the Ubex is linked to that collaboration is yet to be confirmed.
Further information about the Vida Concept Ubex will be revealed when EICMA 2025 opens in the first week of November.
